Outside the Region: CBL Props. celebrates grand opening of new 45,900 s/f Publix store

Chattnooga, TN CBL Properties and its joint-venture partners CHM, LLC, and Browning Development Solutions joined officials from Publix, city of Cookeville mayor and mayor of Putnam County to celebrate the grand opening of Publix at The Shoppes at Eagle Pointe with a ribbon cutting ceremony held earlier today. The 45,900 s/f Publix is the first store to open in the new development.

“Known for its stellar customer service and unique shopping experience, we are thrilled to celebrate the opening of Publix,” said David Neuhoff, vice president – development, CBL Properties. “Publix is just the first of many exciting new retailers and restaurants to open at the property. We look forward to delivering this new destination to residents of Cookeville.”

In addition to Publix, the center is anchored by Academy Sports & Outdoor, Ross Dress for Less, PetSmart, Shoe Carnival, and ULTA Beauty as well as a collection of small shops and restaurants including Panera Bread and Chipotle Mexican Grille.
