CetraRuddy

Industry Outlook:
Our firm CetraRuddy is a longtime leader in the commercial-to-residential conversion sector, and we’re seeing more innovation in this field than ever before. In New York and other cities around the country we are working with clients on new types of apartment layout, creative approaches to amenity programming, state-of-the-art and highly sustainable new mechanical systems, and different use mixes that help these projects pencil in diverse markets.

Looking Ahead:
Recent developments in New York’s zoning code, such as the new Midtown South Mixed Use District, are exciting because they will have a hugely positive impact on growth. I’m also excited about the design vision CetraRuddy is bringing to new construction projects across different sectors. We’re now completing a condominium tower with Douglaston Development at 175 East 82nd Street that stands out for elements like a hand-laid brick facade, and we have other initiatives underway with this exacting approach to form and materiality, creating value for our clients and a strong skyline statement.
