NYSCAR to co-sponsor course with Hudson Valley Chapter

NYSCAR sponsored the Developing and Syndicating course in Albany, New York, October 27-28 at the Holiday Inn on Wolf Rd. ?The class was instructed by Chet Allen, CCIM, SEC of California.?It was a great success and attracted attendees from across New York State, as well as an attendee from Ontario, Canada and one from North Carolina! On October 29, the Greater Capital Chapter of NYSCAR hosted a marketing session which was also held at the Holiday Inn on Wolf Rd. in Albany. In addition to attendees from the Capital District, the session attracted attendees from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Long Island, Syracuse, and the Adirondacks. Several properties were presented and it was a great opportunity for attendees to network with each other. We are pleased to announce that NYSCAR will sponsor a course in cooperation with the Hudson Valley Chapter of NYSCAR on April 16, 2009. The course which will be held at the Hotel Sierra in Fishkill, N.Y. is entitled "Creative Equity Marketing and Exchanging of Commercial Investment Real Estate," and will be instructed by Robert Giniecki, CCIM, SEC (Albany) and James Wilson, CCIM, SEC (Florida). The course will enable attendees to successfully use creative equity marketing techniques to create more closed transactions. ?In addition to learning how to effectively participate in a marketing session, attendees will discover the potential of an expanded marketing network and increased client satisfaction. ?Alternative methods of transaction structuring will be demonstrated and more than 25 reasons why a real estate exchange may be beneficial to a client will be discussed. ?Registration information will be available in the near future. Under the members only section, members are able to broadcast email the membership, input their bio information and obtain documents such as listing agreements, Code of Ethics, bylaws, etc. NYSCAR will be meeting in early 2009 and will kick off the year with a strategic planning session. Planning will also start for the 8th Annual Conference which will be held June 1-3, 2009 at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y. Mark your calendar!
