Newburgh, NY Peter Malone and Brian Coleman of Cushman & Wakefield / Pyramid Brokerage Co.’s Hudson Valley office, were recently nominated and chosen by the Hudson Valley chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR) for the 2017 Economic Development DealMaker Award. Both Coleman and Malone worked with U.S. Crane & Rigging in securing two industrial sites in Orange County.

The first site that they secured for U.S. Crane & Rigging was the former Kolmar Labs facility located at 100-200 Skyline Dr. in Port Jervis. This is a 27-acre facility with roughly 130,000 s/f of manufacturing space. The old facility will be dismantled and make way for two 30,000 s/f industrial buildings that will be utilized under a recent permit U.S. Crane & Rigging won from the NYC Department of Environmental Protection to handle a significant amount of NYC construction debris. The Port Jervis facility will cost an estimated $27 million to complete and upon completion, will create 54 permanent jobs. Malone represented the seller with Coleman representing the buyer.

The second location, located at 18 Rte. 17K, and known as the former Manheim Auto auction facility, consisted of 30 acres of paved parking and a 34,000 s/f industrial building along with a truck and car wash building. U.S. Crane and Rigging received approvals to build a 66,100 s/f industrial building which will be utilized for structural steel fabrication purposes. The construction project is valued at $21 million and will create 32 permanent jobs. Malone and Coleman represented U.S. Crane & Rigging on the purchase of 18 Rte. 17K.
