NYARM to hold real estate management expo and seminars - September 26

On Friday, September 26 there will be a no cost real estate management expo and seminars. Nelson Davis, of JAD Corporation of America, chairman of NYARM's Real Estate Expo and Greg Carlson, NYARM president, cordially invite all: building & property management professionals, resident managers, superintendents, purchasing agents, assistant managers, board members and the attorneys, engineers, CPAs, construction managers & architects who serve the real estate industry. The Project Partners Continental Breakfast Reception from 7:30 to 9 a.m., is a networking event designed to kick off the opening of the expo. The mid-morning seminar, "Blueprint Reading: Elevations & Mechanicals," is a hands-on workshop for building managers with special emphasis on the most common type of capital improvement or alteration work being overseen or planned by today's property management professionals. The afternoon seminar will be "Ethics for The Building Manager." Ethics is a required seminar for those who are looking to achieve or maintain their NYARM, New York Accredited Realty Manager, certification. The seminars are scheduled to allow for ample time for attendees to visit the exhibitor's booths. A special feature from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. is the energy legal help desk whereby building managers will be able to consult with a specialized attorney on their energy conservation contracts. Attendees are urged to bring their energy proposals or existing contract issues for review at no cost.
