Nieves joins Holliday Fenoglio Fowler as a director

New York, NY Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF) has hired Mike Nieves as a director focused on M&A and corporate advisory services in the firm’s NY office. He will work with senior managing director Steve Hentschel, who heads HFF’s M&A and corporate advisory services provided by HFF’s registered broker-deal subsidiary, HFF Securities, L.P (HFFS). Nieves joins HFF from Citigroup’s Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking Group, where he was a VP and worked on public REIT mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity and debt capital markets transactions. Prior to Citigroup, he worked at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as a corporate lawyer, executing mergers and acquisitions as well as bank finance transactions. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia, a Juris Doctorate from American University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
