National Realty & Development promotes Lyss to managing director of real estate operations

Purchase, NY According to National Realty & Development Corp. (NRDC), Harrison Lyss has been promoted to managing director of real estate operations. Lyss began his career with NRDC in 2016 as the assistant director of property operations. In his new position, he will be working with the office of the president on special projects that include leasing, creating property operating efficiences, construction project review and reporting, financing and tech initiatives.  

“Harrison has distinguished himself as a team player aiding in all units of the company,” said John Orrico, president at NRDC. “His work ethic and industry insight will continue to play a valuable role at our firm. We congratulate him on this well-earned promotion.” 

Prior to joining NRDC, Lyss worked as a property manager for GHP, the office building division for Houlihan-Parnes Realtors in White Plains, where he was responsible for the operation and performance of their commercial real estate portfolio. Lyss graduated from The University of Arizona with a B.A.in Economics. 

Founded more than 50 years ago, NRDC has built a reputation as one of the leading full-service, privately-held real estate ownership and development firms in the United States. 

The NRDC portfolio is comprised 78 projects in 14 states, including large retail power centers, grocery-anchored community shopping centers, and corporate/ industrial business parks.
