Murphy of University Hill Realty brokers sale of Geddes Plaza

Dan Murphy

Solvay, NY University Hill Realty Ltd. negotiated the sale of Geddes Plaza, a mixed-use commercial and residential property. The transaction was brokered by Dan Murphy, associate broker with University Hill Realty, who represented the seller, BDS Realty Associates.

Geddes Plaza comprises 22 residential apartments and 28 commercial units, totaling 51,528 s/f on 2.25 acres.

Situated along the West Genesee St. corridor, near I-690 and I-81, the property is positioned to benefit from the region’s continued economic growth, including the transformative Micron semiconductor project and broader development in Central New York.

The property sold for $1.775 million.

“This transaction represents a significant repositioning opportunity in one of the most visible and active corridors in Onondaga County,” said Murphy. “Geddes Plaza continues to be a cornerstone property with immense potential, and we’re proud to have helped guide this sale to completion on behalf of our client.”

Located within the town of Geddes, the property also benefits from municipal electric service, which offers operational savings compared to other nearby markets supplied by private utilities.
