Moskowitz of HSP Real Estate Group arranges 7,500 s/f

Dana Moskowitz

Manhattan, NY Rödl & Partner has leased a 7,500 s/f space at 228 East 45th St., which will serve as the German-based, international accounting and tax advisory’s NYC office. Representing the owner, Beckrose Estate, LLC, was Dana Moskowitz, partner, HSP Real Estate Group, a member of NAI Global. Jim Devaney, a director at NAI Brannen Goddard in Atlanta, GA., represented Rödl & Partner in the transaction as its U.S. real estate consultant.

“The tenant was immediately attracted to the location of the building,” said Moskowitz. “The space, which is nearly twice the size of Rödl’s current offices, was in move-in condition and required very few modifications.”

According to Devaney, “This was an excellent choice for our client on so many levels and a wonderful opportunity for us to work with an NAI partner. Needless to say, the transaction was flawless.”

The asking rent for the five-year lease was in the low $50s. The tenant will be moving from 747 Third Ave. into its new offices in January 2021.
