Monroe Roadways awarded site contracts at St. John Fisher College; Partnering with Lechase Construction on Skalny Science Center

Monroe Roadways, one of Rochester's leading site construction experts, has been awarded multiple contracts for site construction services on the campus of St. John Fisher College located at 3690 East Ave. Monroe is partnering with Rochester-based LeChase Construction on the Skalny Science Center which includes earthwork, site utilities, paving and new walks. The Science Center addition will be complete in July 2015. Reconstruction of Parking Lot F, and a portion of the campus loop adjacent to the Wegmans School of Nursing, is being completed directly for the college. Work is underway, with a completion date slated for this month to be ready for Buffalo Bill's Training Camp. "We are proud to collaborate on another project with St. John Fisher College, and continue our growing relationship," said Monroe Roadways president, Jeff Taylor. "Fisher stays committed to the Rochester community by expanding the infrastructure and landscape of the college to better serve student needs." With the contracting of these new projects, Monroe continues its already recognized relationship with St. John Fisher College, having completed numerous site construction projects for the ever-expanding campus. Past projects include site construction for the new facilities building and site construction for the new Buffalo Bill's Practice Field. multiple parking lot and loop road extensions; and the site construction for the Polisseni Track and Field Complex. The Track and Field complex includes an eight-lane 400-meter competition track with a grass infield, seating for approximately 1,000 people, and locker rooms.
