Meyerson joins WiredScore as director of business operations

WiredScore, a provider of a standardized rating system designed to identify, evaluate and certify commercial buildings with the fastest and most reliable Internet connections, has added Aaron Meyerson as the firm's director of business operations. Prior to joining the firm, Meyerson served as the assistant vice president of strategic planning at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), co-leading a strategy team to develop policies and programs to strengthen the economy of NYC, primarily those focused on the technology and design industries. Meyerson also served on former mayor Bloomberg's Special Initiative for Resiliency and Rebuilding, developing a 20-year citywide resiliency strategy in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. He has nearly a decade of experience in the strategy consulting and real estate markets having served briefly with the Real Estate Board of New York and Trust for Governors Island in New York and CFAR Management Consulting in Cambridge, MA. Meyerson holds a Masters of Urban Planning from New York University. Meyerson will support WiredScore's national expansion of services to office property owners, asset managers and leasing agents in cities nationwide by identifying strategic partners in markets across the U.S., in addition to managing a team of engineering and construction specialists responsible for conducting building evaluations throughout the country. "Aaron is a proven leader in the development and implementation of programs and services that assist commercial real estate owners in attracting the industry's most sought-after tenants in the technology, advertising, marketing and information services sectors," said Arie Barendrecht, CEO of WiredScore. "His experience working with government agencies and large portfolio owners will help WiredScore continue to development strategic partnerships as we expand our Wired Certification platform throughout the U.S. He will also assist with the continuous innovation of our existing certification methodology and the creation of new products and services. We are excited to have Aaron as part of the WiredScore team."
