Meyer and Mesmer of GVA Williams negotiate lease expansion to 36,392 s/f

GVA Williams, a leading New York City commercial real estate firm, negotiated a lease that Micro Office Solutions has signed in a deal to expand to 36,392 s/f at 1375 Bdwy. Micro Office Solutions, which already occupied 20,000 s/f on the third floor, now inked a deal for an additional 16,392 s/f on the eleventh floor. Marty Meyer, senior executive managing director and Perry Mesmer, senior managing director, both of GVA Williams represented the landlord and the tenant. "Micro Office Solutions has become an incubator for several businesses that needed space and have since gone onto larger spaces of their own," said Mesmer. "The firm has attracted several media, new technology and graphic design firms requiring a unique space in Manhattan. The 1375 Bdwy. location was ideal in helping them draw and maintain their core business." Micro Office Solutions began their business at 36 W. 20th St. and still maintain that location. The firm provides office space to businesses looking to house a small number of employees; individuals/professionals seeking a productive office environment; firms needing temporary office space; and individuals or businesses needing affordable part-time office space. Built in 1927, 1375Bdwy. has a total of 428,371 s/f. Asking rents in the building are $52 per s/f. Others on the tenant roster include Omnicom Group, Anchin, Block & Anchin and Land N' Sea.
