Meet the BMAR Member - Weisel

Ben Weisel has been providing pest control service for the real estate industry since 1977. He started his company with $500 and a business goal to provide the best possible service at the best possible price. Under his direction, Metro Pest Control has evolved into one of New York's largest family-owned, pest control companies, with a staff of over 75 employees serving the New York metropolitan area. Weisel is known as an innovator in the industry, developing alternative methods of treatment to achieve results where other methods have failed. He is presently experimenting with temperature controlled environments for the control of bed bugs, He taught classes at the Brooklyn Institute of Technology, instructing students who are seeking New York State Department of Conservation licensing and recertification in the pest control field. He is the recipient of the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors 2008 Affiliate Member of the Year Award.
