McGuire Development facilitates sale of 290 Kenmore Ave.; brokers 15,124 s/f lease

Vito Picone, McGuire Development CompanyBuffalo, NY McGuire Development Company has facilitated the sale of 290 Kenmore Ave. through its senior director of business development, Vito Picone. The sale price was $165,000.
The 1,316 s/f building is located on 0.82 acres and was home to a landscaping and floral business. The new owners, Sakthy Realty, LLC, plan to build a 1,000 s/f addition and convert the property into a small convenience/grocery store.
“With the departure of Budwey’s Kenmore Supermarket in 2013, this neighborhood has been lacking a small, family-run grocery store that provides high quality products and great service,” Picone said. “Area residents have been vocal about their desire for a market to come back into the neighborhood, so this is a perfect fit.”
McGuire Development also recently completed the lease of 4225 Genesee St. in Cheektowaga to UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine will lease 15,124 s/f for its back-office operations, including its administration, billing, marketing and customer service departments. The move is a consolidation of two offices and will result in a more efficient work space.

“We’re thrilled to have UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine join our family as a tenant and know that 4225 Genesee St. will be an impeccable location for its back-office operations,” said James Dentinger, president of McGuire Development. “This is a building with location and area amenities that can’t be beat.”
The building is located on Genesee St. across from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
