McAlister joins Hub International Northeast as new business development associate

New York, NY According to Hub International Northeast Limited, Shanon McAlister has joined the organization as a new business development associate. 

McAlister will focus on building insurance and risk management programs for the commercial and residential real estate industry, working with owners, developers and property managers on custom, comprehensive solutions. 

Hub has been working with the real estate community for over 60 years, providing expertise in insurance underwriting, as well as loss control, risk management, and an extensive list of other insurance services uniquely designed to service the real estate industry.

Prior to this new role, McAlister was a senior retail leasing director with SLMC Corp. and holds over two decades of real estate industry experience. McAlister is an active member of various real estate associations, including the Bronx/Manhattan North Association of Realtors (BMNAR), Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR), National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from State University of New York Empire State College and is a licensed property and casualty insurance broker.
