Markel and Koroma of Cresa handle relocation for HUNGRY Marketplace to Long Island City

Queens, NY Cresa vice presidents Nick Markel and LaMean Koroma have arranged the relocation of the New York office of HUNGRY Marketplace, a national food-tech catering company, to The Woodworks LIC, a full-block mixed-used industrial and office development in Hunters Point, Long Island City at 9-03 44^th Rd.

The food production, catering, and business event platform is moving from Metro Tech Center in Brooklyn to a 2,750 s/f grade level, fully re-purposed space.

Representing the landlord, Barone Management, were Cushman & Wakefield’s Josh Kleinberg, managing partner, and Dale Braverman, associate. Asking rent for the three-year lease term was $40 per s/f.

Since its 2017 launch in Washington, D.C., HUNGRY Marketplace has opened operations in the greater New York metropolitan area, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Dallas, and Washington, D.C. The company’s commitment to incubating and nurturing culinary talent and helping fight hunger positively impacts the local communities. To date, through its Fighting Hunger program, HUNGRY has provided over $500,000 to those in need.
