Marcus & Millichap sells 533 West 142nd Street for $2.05 million; Von Der Ahe, Edelstein, Fotis and Glasser rep both parties

Marcus & Millichap, one of the leading commercial real estate investment services firms with offices throughout the U.S. and Canada, arranged the sale of a 7-unit apartment property, according to J.D. Parker, regional manager of the firm's Manhattan office. The asset sold for $2.05 million. Peter Von Der Ahe, Scott Edelstein, Matthew Fotis and Seth Glasser, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Manhattan office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer, a private investor, was secured and represented by Von Der Ahe, Edelstein, Fotis and Glasser. The property, located at 533 West 142nd St., is located on a tree-lined townhouse block in West Harlem. "We were able to find a first time buyer who wanted to park his money in a safe, cash-flowing asset with a moderate return," said Glasser. The building has been completely renovated to turnkey condition and is now 100% free market.
