Manhattan Schoolhouse signs new location on Upper East Side

New York, NY Manhattan Schoolhouse, a children’s learning center offering programs from 3 months to 6 years, has signed a lease for an 11,800 s/f facility at 1538 Second Ave. This will be the childcare provider’s fifth location.

Manhattan Schoolhouse encourages a child’s learning through the Reggio Emilia approach to education, which is based on the belief that every child is full of intelligence, curiosity and wonder. Programs offered by the school include Daycare, Preschool (3-K), Preschool (Pre-K), and Summer Camp.

The lease at 1538 Second Ave. was a direct deal between the tenant and the landlord, 301 East 80th Realty LLC. Manhattan Schoolhouse was represented by Martin Shaw, David Levy, and Kayla Laskin of Lester Bleckner & Shaw LLP on all leasing, condominium, and construction matters. The landlord was represented by Nesenoff & Milltenberg LLP. The condominium was represented by Seiden & Schein, P.C.

The new Manhattan Schoolhouse location will be located on the ground floor and basement levels of Beckford Tower and is expected to open Fall 2022.
