Lowe appointed sales manager of Compass

New York, NY According to Compass, a technology-driven real estate platform, Mary Lowe, one of its top Brooklyn agents, has been appointed sales manager of the company’s Williamsburg and new Cobble Hill locations. Lowe will co-manage Brooklyn agents alongside Patrick Brennan who will oversee the firm’s Park Slope office. “Our growing presence in Brooklyn demands more great managers to maintain the same level of service our agents and clients expect. Mary is a natural leader with deep knowledge of the Brooklyn market, and she and Patrick are a winning leadership combination for the region,” said Robert Reffkin, founder and CEO of Compass. An accomplished real estate specialist, Lowe brings more than a decade of experience in resales and new developments throughout Brooklyn. Over the course of her career, she transacted more than $100 million in sales and is consistently ranked among the top 5% of brokers nationwide. Additionally, Lowe has worked on premier new developments such as 101 Warren in Tribeca, be@william in the Financial District and Richard Meier On Prospect Park as well as boutique co-op and condo conversions, including 466 15th St. and 382 Prospect Place, in Brooklyn. “I am excited to bring my bring my experience working with clients throughout Brooklyn and knowledge of the market to this new management position, and look forward to helping Patrick build the preeminent real estate services company in the area,” said Lowe. Compass’ Brooklyn operation launched last year, and now has more than 50 agents who specialize in the borough. In the past twelve months, Compass agents transacted nearly $728 million in Brooklyn sales and this year facilitated one of Brooklyn’s most expensive residential sales – an $8 million townhouse at 31 Garden Place in Brooklyn Heights. Compass was co-founded by Ori Allon, a technology entrepreneur who has previously sold companies to Twitter and Google; and Reffkin, who previously worked at McKinsey, the White House, and Goldman Sachs in private equity and most recently as chief of staff to the president & COO.
