NY Services for the Handicapped signed a five-year lease for 1,245 s/f of office space at 1140 Broadway. NY Services for the Handicapped offers camping scholarships for adults with physical disabilities as well as owns and operates Camp Oakhurst, a 15-acre residential facility for individuals with physical disabilities. The tenant's new office space will house the non-profit organization's management staff.
Daniel Lipton of the Kaufman Organization represented the tenant, while Michael Joseph of GVA Williams represented the landlord.  
The 16-story, 128,011 s/f building is located in the Flatiron District and features 24-7 accessibility.  The building is occupied by a variety of tenants including Amex Realty, Bluemoon Trading and USA Broadcasting, Inc. as well as retail tenants Ace Fashion and N.Y.I. Co., Inc.
