Levy of Adams & Co. brokers 9,658 s/f lease for Beth Israel Medical Ctr.

Adams & Co. Real Estate brokered an eight-year, 9,658 s/f renewal at 317 East 34th St. for Beth Israel Medical Center, which serves as the Beth Israel Hand Surgery Center. The fully-leased property is also known as the Medical Arts Center. The resident doctors of the center are Dr. Charles Melone, Dr. Steven Beldner and Dr. Daniel Polatsch. The Beth Israel Medical Center also hosts the Albert Einstein Hand Surgery Fellowship Training Program to teach and encourage young doctors to specialize in the field of hand surgery. David Levy, principal of Adams & Co., represented both the tenant and the landlord. "Beth Israel is one of New York City's premier hospitals and the Medical Center at 34th St. is world-renowned for hand surgery," said Levy. "It was very important to keep Beth Israel in their existing space and we are pleased to have them as a tenant for eight more years." Built in 1910, the 12-story building is also known as the Medical Arts Center. Adams & Co. Real Estate, LLC is among the top five leasing companies in New York City, as measured by total s/f. The full-service real estate firm is responsible for millions of square feet of office space and provides property management, brokerage and consulting services throughout Manhattan by teaming experience with innovation.
