Kingsley, Carrega, Epstein, Helman and Sullivan of Avison Young selected to sell Woodside portfolio

Queens, NY According to Avison Young, its investment sales team in New York City has been tapped as exclusive sales agent for a three-building commercial warehouse portfolio in Woodside. The buildings are located at 57-09 37th Ave., 57-11 37th Ave. and 57-12 37th Ave. The combined area for the three warehouses totals 25,250 s/f. The trio of commercial buildings has been family-owned since the late 1960s and has not traded hands in over 45 years. The Avison Young Investment Sales team, comprising principals Charles Kingsley,Vincent Carrega, Jon Epstein and Neil Helman, along with associate Richard Sullivan, are jointly managing the sale of the buildings on behalf of ownership. “This portfolio is ideal for an investor that is seeking to reposition the properties at the expiration of current leases and in search of an opportunity in the heart of Woodside,” said Sullivan. “This particular area of Queens is a bustling hub, easily accessible by many modes of transportation and with a healthy mix of both commercial and residential properties. Our team is excited to exclusively market this portfolio of buildings and look forward to finding a new owner to implement their vision for the buildings.” The current tenant, FROST | Productions, a full-service event production company, have occupied the properties since first taking a lease in the early 1990s. The current lease, set to expire in less than three years, gives a new investor an opportunity to capitalize on the strength in the market. The ideal owner will benefit from the repositioning of these quality assets for a long-term hold in a thriving New York City neighborhood.
