Kemm and Landes of Royal Properties represents landlord in long term 7,500 s/f lease to Kirklands Stores; Zolcinski of Jones Lang LaSalle acts for Kirkland’s

Nanuet, NY According to Royal Properties, Inc., Kirkland’s Stores, Inc. signed a long-term lease for 7,500 s/f within Rockland Center at 43 Route 59. 

Jeanine Kemm of Royal, along with David Landes represented the landlord in this transaction. Corey Zolcinski of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Kirkland’s.  

Rockland Center is a 265,000 s/f shopping center located on Route 59, the main retail corridor with over 31,000 cars per day.  

“We are excited that Rockland Center will be home to Kirkland’s and think they will be a great addition to the tenant mix,” said Kemm.

Kirkland’s will join co-tenants such as newly signed T.J. Maxx and Sierra Trading as well as HomeGoods, PetSmart, AC Moore, Party City, Big Lots, AutoZone, Five Guys, Chili’s Restaurant & Grill and a varied combination of local and regional retailers. Neighboring retailers in Nanuet include Macy’s, J Crew, Gap, Michael Kors, Sur La Table, Sephora, 24 Hour Fitness, Barnes & Noble, Petco, Modell’s, Marshalls, Charlotte Russe, Five Below, Vitamin Shoppe, Verizon, Blinds To Go, Dollar Tree, Target, Starbucks, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohls, Babies ‘R’ Us and many more. Rockland Center is visible from Rte. 59 and a parking field for all of their retailers. Currently underway is a façade renovation for the shopping center. 

Kirkland’s, Inc. is a specialty retailer of home décor in the US, operating 418 stores in 36 states. Kirkland’s present a broad selection of distinctive merchandise, including framed art, mirrors, candles, lamps, picture frames, accent rugs, garden accessories and artificial floral products. The company’s stores also offer an extensive assortment of gifts, as well as seasonal merchandise.
