Katz & Associates represents Leap Inc. to bring two new sustainable apparel retailers

Brooklyn, NY Katz & Associates, the exclusive real estate broker for Leap Inc. in Brooklyn, half of Manhattan, and Florida, has closed 10-year deals to bring two new sustainable retail fashion and lifestyle brands to Williamsburg. Katz’s Scott Sher represented Leap Inc. in leases for UpWest (1,200 s/f) to 107 N 3rd St. and Frank and Oak (3,500 s/f) to 106 N 3rd St. Garry Steinberg and Brendan Reichenbacher of Lee & Associates represented the landlord. UpWest Brooklyn is now open. Frank and Oak is slated to open in Williamsburg this summer.

This is the first New York store for UpWest, which is based in Ohio and has locations in Ohio, Illinois, Colorado, California, and Oregon. Canadian-based Frank and Oak has stores in Canada, New York (SOHO), Chicago, and soon in Shanghai, China.

“Leap is creating a cluster of stores in Williamsburg, bringing great brands to the hottest retail market in Brooklyn,” said Sher. “They do a great job of creating a phenomenal shopping experience.”
