Kapsalis and Goldberg join Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. team

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) has added two mortgage brokers in the firm's area office, according to John Wilcox, eastern division VP. "We are excited to have Roger Kapsalis and Lior Goldberg join the firm. They will focus on providing mortgage brokerage services for our clients in Brooklyn and throughout NY Metro area for an array of property types," said Wilcox. Kapsalis and Goldberg come from Cushman & Wakefield/Masey Knakal's mortgage brokerage business, where Kapsalis was a director. In the last 12 months, the team closed $80 million of financings. Throughout their career, they've placed in excess of $230 million of loans. "Roger and Lior both saw the value of joining Marcus & Millichap's unique platform. We are the leading commercial brokerage firm in the region. The opportunity, to work with a growing team that has taken a market leading position in Brooklyn, was attractive for Roger and Lior to better serve their clients," said JD Parker, first VP and regional manager of the company's Manhattan, Westchester and New Haven offices. "The addition of this team will allow us to raise the bar in providing our clients with real estate financing expertise in the New York market. The company is evolving, partnerships of this nature will further solidify our dominance in this market," said John Horowitz, regional manager of Marcus & Millichap's Brooklyn office.
