Kaplan named semi-senior accountant at GLC

According to Phillip Goldstein, managing partner of Goldstein Lieberman & Co., LLC (GLC), Daniel Kaplan has been promoted to semi-senior accountant. "In a very short time, Kaplan has exhibited the degree of expertise and dedication that made him an ideal candidate for promotion," said Goldstein. "Beginning my career during the recession made for a fascinating learning curve," said Kaplan, who holds a B.S. in accounting from SUNY Albany. He has been responsible for a variety of functions including the preparation of tax returns and audit work for closely held businesses including real estate entities and distribution companies. The company's extensive client roster includes regional, national, and international companies.
