Kamali and Sandel of Eastern Consolidated arrange 7,000 s/f lease to CityMD

Bronx, NY Eastern Consolidated’s retail leasing division has arranged for CityMD to lease an entire 7,000 s/f multi-level building at 388 East Fordham Rd. between Webster and Mariam Ave. The space offers 12 to 30-ft. ceilings, 3,000 s/f on the ground floor, and 1,000 s/f on the mezzanine with an additional 3,000 s/f of storage on the third floor and basement. Eastern Consolidated senior director Brad Cohen, and associate directors Jon Kamali and Benjamin Sandel, negotiated the long-term lease on behalf of the landlord.  Benjamin Birnbaum of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented CityMD. “This is the third location for CityMD in the Bronx and the only urgent care facility on East Fordham Rd.,” Cohen said. “This site is easily accessible, located on a major commercial corridor next to Fordham University, and in the midst of a vibrant residential community full of college students and families in need of health services.” Kamali said, “The market for urgent care services is growing and CityMD is at the forefront of this expansion in New York City. This property gives them a full building identity in arguably the best retail corridor in the Bronx.” The East Fordham Road property is surrounded by prime retailers including Sears, Best Buy, Walgreens, 24 Hour Fitness, TJ Maxx, Starbucks, Applebee’s, Chipotle, Party City, Famous Footwear, Modell’s, Zales, Planet Fitness, Burlington Coat Factory, Dr. Jays, and Checkers. Transportation is available on Metro North and the B and D trains.
