Manhattan, NY Atlantic Capital Partners has added Stephen Joseph to its team as a vice president. His primary focus will be on debt and equity placement for new acquisitions and recapitalizations nationally as well as investment sales in the greater New York metro.

Throughout his career, Joseph  has worked on the disposition, acquisition, or recapitalization of hundreds of retail, industrial, office, and development projects throughout the country. In his most recent role as director of acquisitions at First National Realty Partners, he spearheaded the acquisition strategy for grocery-anchored, multitenant retail properties, originating and closing over $300 million in transactions across the western U.S. and New England.

Prior to First National Realty Partners, he held a variety of transaction-oriented positions working for some of the top development, investment banking and investment sales teams in the greater New York Metro including Advance Realty Investors, CBRE and HFF. He has facilitated over $2 billion in debt assignments as a broker and principal, with all lender types, and has worked on investment sales assignments in excess of $1 billion as a principal and on behalf of institutional and private investors. Joseph has a B.S from Lehigh University and a Master’s degree from New York University.

When asked about the newest team members Justin Smith said, “The addition of this service solidifies Atlantic Capital Partners as the preeminent sales platform in the region given that no other firm has the combination of institutional expertise and a top-tier leasing platform.” With the growing platform expanding the entire east coast, Atlantic Capital Partners is well positioned to advise clients on how best to position their portfolio to ensure they are maximizing returns.

Joseph addressed his move back to the brokerage side of the business by stating, “Having transacted with the Atlantic team in the past I can confidently say that they are one of the most knowledgeable and effective capital markets teams in the country and have a demonstrated track record of delivering market leading results for their clients. I am excited for the opportunity to join the Atlantic Capital Partners and to add debt and equity advisory to the services we offer our clients.”
