IREM NYC’s DEI Committee visits Anne Frank: The Exhibition

Manhattan, NY IREM NYC’s DEI Committee visited Anne Frank: The Exhibition in New York City on May 20th. Frank and her diary are often referenced within DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) contexts, particularly to highlight the importance of human rights and the dangers of discrimination and prejudice. Anne Frank’s story serves as a powerful reminder of the Holocaust and the devastating consequences of racism and antisemitism, making her a symbol of resilience and hope.
Randall Powell, CPM, chair of the chapter’s DEI committee said, “Anne Frank’s story is a stark example of human rights violations and serves as a reminder of the ugliness of prejudice and the importance of promoting understanding and acceptance.”
