Hyatt Hotels, Malta Hospitality and InterMountain celebrates opening of Hyatt Place Saratoga/Malta

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Malta Hospitality, LLC, and InterMountain Management, LLC recently opened the Hyatt Place Saratoga/Malta, marking it as one of NYS' first Hyatt Places and one of the country's first ground-up Hyatt Place hotels.  Hyatt Place, recently named the top mid-scale full service brand in the J.D. Power and Associates 2008 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction IndexSM, complements Hyatt's full service brands by combining contemporary design with innovative services and amenities to create an atmosphere of casual hospitality.  "Hyatt Place has already reached more than 115 hotels in two years and this opening - our first new-build Hyatt Place - represents the next phase of the brand's domestic growth strategy and paves the way for international expansion," said Chuck Floyd, COO - North America, Global Hyatt Corp. "With Hyatt Place, we've struck the bulls-eye for consumers - through our research, we've provided the resources they need to maintain their 24/7 lifestyle by offering a combination of style, service and amenities never before seen in the industry."  Hyatt Place Saratoga/Malta, which is owned by Malta Hospitality, LLC and operated by InterMountain Management, LLC, is located at 20 State Farm Place. Hyatt Place is also developing hotels in New York City (Manhattan) and Long Island's Garden City. Hyatt Place Saratoga/Malta will be under the leadership of general manager Bill Gomez and director of sales Michele Neyer.
