Hourihan and Deck of RealtyUSA broker $1.982 million for Sherwood Electromotion Inc.

West Seneca, NY Sherwood Electromotion Inc., a company that specializes in servicing electric motors and other devices for the transit and railroad industries, has acquired the former Delavan Industries Inc. property. Sherwood paid $1.982 million for the buildings located at 199 & 221 Lein Rd. Sherwood will be moving from its current building on Botsford Place in Buffalo where it occupies 7,500 s/f to its new 62,000 s/f home later this year. The move will allow Sherwood to handle a larger volume and scope of business, especially with contracts the firm has with the Port Authority of New York, New Jersey Transit Authority and Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York City. Tim Hourihan and Joe Deck, from RealtyUSA’s Commercial Division in Buffalo brokered the transaction. Sherwood is headquartered out of Concord, Ontario.
