Houlihan Lawrence sells Barrie House Coffee’s roasting facility
Mount Vernon, NY Houlihan Lawrence Commercial, a division of Houlihan Lawrence, negotiated the sale of Barrie House Coffee Company’s 13,700 s/f roasting facility at 216 South 13th Ave. for $2.8 million.
After being in business for 90 years, Barrie House Coffee Co. ceased operations in February. The company’s distribution center in Elmsford also closed. Westside Party Rentals, which is located next door to the Barrie House Coffee building, purchased the property for expansion of their operations.
Andrew Grossman from Houlihan Lawrence Commercial represented both sides of this deal. “It was truly a good match for the buyer’s expansion requirements and equally good for the seller to have the flexibility on the time to move. I compliment both sides of the table on working well together. Teamwork makes the dream work. This was certainly the case here,” he said.
