Heightened Security, Inc. secures new 3,821 s/f lease at 247 West 37th St.

Manhattan, NY According to GFP Real Estate, LLC, Heightened Security, Inc. has signed a new seven-year, four-month lease for 3,821 s/f on the sixth floor of 247 West 37th St. in Midtown.

Heightened Security, Inc., a full-service security firm with over 20 years of experience, was looking to expand its New York City footprint. The company, which will relocate from 40 Exchange Pl. in downtown, will use its new space for its general, administrative and executive offices.

Allen Gurevich and Matt Colavita of GFP Real Estate represented the tenant. Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate.

Originally constructed in 1924 by Bricken Construction Company and designed by Gronenberg & Leuchtag, 247 West 37th St. is a 19-story, 271,000 s/f property that has recently undergone significant renovations, including a modernized lobby and upgraded elevator systems. The building is home to a mix of nonprofit and fashion tenants, including JASA, Workmen’s Circle, The Settlement Housing Fund, and designer Prabal Gurung, with The Henny anchoring the ground floor. Located in the Garment District, the property offers access to transit, amenities, and Midtown’s core business districts.
