Heaner and Horowitz of Kaufman collaborate with Charney of L.H. Charney for 10-year 9,630 s/f lease

Quizz Sportswear, Inc., an apparel manufacturing company that produces its own clothing brand as well as private label lines for stores such as JCPenny, signed a 10-year lease for 9,630 s/f of showroom and office space, an entire floor, at 1410 Broadway on West 39th St. Michael Heaner and Marc Horowitz of the Kaufman Organization represented the tenant in the transaction, while Leon Charney of L.H. Charney Associates represented the landlord. Although the terms of the lease were undisclosed, the asking price for the space was $50 per s/f. Built in 1929, the 34-story, 12,475 s/f building is located in the Garment District and features 24-hour access, on-site security and a side street entrance on 120 West 39th St. With over 85 years experience and 6.9 million square feet of owned or managed space, the Kaufman Organization has long been considered one of the most prominent and well-respected real estate companies in the New York metropolitan area.  The company offers a fully integrated spectrum of leasing and management services to diverse owners and tenants and is continually looking to build its portfolio through property acquisitions.
