Hakimian and Scharf of HPNY assist with $51 million sale of 2255 Broadway

Manhattan, NY According to public records, a 3-story retail building with 90,000 buildable s/f traded in an off market deal for $51 million. 2255 Broadway is located on the southwest corner of West 81^st St. The Upper West side building, which is currently a 20,000 s/f, three-story retail structure, can be developed into a residential tower with a retail at the base. Neighboring tenants are Starbucks, Verizon, Bank of America, famous eatery Zabar’s as well a slew of other national tenants. The seller of the property was 2255 Hold LLC and the buyer was 2255 Broadway LLC. Ivan Hakimian and Eli Scharf of HPNY were involved in the off-market deal.

Hakimian and Scharf also recently also closed on a two-story retail property at 771 Washington St.in the Meatpacking district for $71 million.
