Griffiths of Calamar honored as a Woman of Distinction by The Tonawanda News

Kathy Griffiths, director of marketing for Calamar, was one of only 12 women selected to represent Tonawanda's "Women of Distinction" award presented by The Tonawanda News. Over 40 nominees were considered before selecting the final 12. The now yearly publication of Women in Distinction was created to honor the achievements and accomplishments of women in our area and highlight their individual contributions. Griffiths received her honor at a recent award reception. "I'm extremely humbled and privileged to have been selected to share this honor with so many exceptional, driven and dedicated women. I am very appreciative of being recognized and thank The Tonawanda News for providing this opportunity to acknowledge the talent we have here in our region", said Griffiths. Calamar president Ken Franasiak said, "We are very proud of Kathy. Her talents put her on the cutting edge and she continually does a great job in all her marketing efforts. She is a very important part of our organization, a joy to work with and her spirit makes Calamar a wonderful environment to work in."
