Greenpoint Landing celebrates Riverside Market

Brooklyn, NY Greenpoint Landing, a 22-acre development site that stretches for half a mile along the borough’s waterfront, celebrated the opening of Riverside Market, a 24-hour market, at 7 Bell Slip. The market is a welcome amenity to residents of Greenpoint Landing and to the local community, offering pick-up and delivery, organic juices and salads, non-GMO products, paninis, vegan fare, traditional sandwiches, as well as sundries, freshly made smoothies, and necessities.

Bejad Musleh, one of the owners who also owns other markets in Manhattan, has chosen Greenpoint for his first foray into the borough, said, “As a center of activity in the neighborhood, Greenpoint Landing is the perfect location for Riverside Market. I am looking forward to providing this vibrant community with a safe and comfortable space to get all the high quality essentials.”

The 1,500 s/f marketplace features wooden and steel fixtures and a modern aesthetic.

Surrounding the market are acres of publicly accessible parks and a waterfront esplanade, the East River and views of Manhattan.

Riverside Market joins neighbor, Eleva Coffee, a café serving sustainably sourced coffee from Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Ethiopia, as well as specialties from local Brooklyn bakeries and homemade empanadas.
