Great Lakes Building Systems named Notifier Distributor of the Year

Buffalo, NY Great Lakes Building Systems, Inc. (GLBS) was selected as “Distributor of the Year” by Notifier by Honeywell. GLBS was chosen out of more than 450 distributors across the U.S. at the annual distributor conference in Orlando, FL.

GLBS designs and maintains some of the most advanced fire alarm and mass notification systems in the region.

The Distributor of the Year award represents the company that provides exceptional service to its customers and executes “flawless project design and installation,” according to Dick Bauer, Notifier vice president of sales, during the conference.

Some of their more notable recent projects are Solar City, the 1.2 million s/f “gigafactory” for the manufacturing of solar panels and 250 Delaware, Delaware North’s Global Headquarters that was constructed in concert with Uniland Development Co.

Notifier leaders refer to GLBS as both innovative and extremely dedicated to hard-work, which lead to its success as a leader in integrated fire and security solutions. The company was not only born in Western New York, but is actively involved in the community supporting several charities and sponsoring local events for worthy causes.
