Goldschmidt of Goldschmidt & Associates co-brokers two sales totaling $12.4 million
Eric Goldschmidt, Goldschmidt & AssociatesNew Rochelle, NY According to Eric Goldschmidt, senior partner at Scarsdale-based Goldschmidt & Associates, announced that he co-brokered the sale of the 62,000 s/f office building at 140-150 Huguenot St.
Goldschmidt, along with Al Mirin of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the sellers. The purchaser, an affiliate of GHP Office Realty, LLC was represented by Andrew Greenspan and Jamie Schwartz.
The sales price was $6.4 million. The building’s major tenants include Mary Ann Liebert Inc., a leading publishing company of medical – related information and Monroe College.
Goldschmidt noted that since GHP also owns 145 Huguenot St. that they were the ideal purchaser for the building. The building is in walking distance to Metro North, Amtrak, a regional bus terminal, as well as exit 16 off I -95. Goldschmidt was the exclusive leasing agent for the building for many years.
Additionally, Goldschmidt co-brokered the sale of a three property package of industrial properties in northern Westchester County.
The purchaser, AG Duke Realty, LLC was represented by Adam Garber of Princeton Realty Group. The total sales price was close to the $6 million asking price.
99 Castleton St., Pleasantville, 10 St. Charles St., and 17 Gramercy Pl., Thornwood totaling 101,000 s/f, were built by the late Theodore Furst, owner of Duke Millwork and a pioneer builder in the 1950’s and 60’s in the county.
“I had known Mr. Furst since 1973 and it was a pleasure representing his family in these sales,” Goldschmidt said. “Mr. Furst was a gentleman and is sorely missed by everyone who knew him.”
The attorney for the seller was Ernest Gelman, Esq. The purchaser’s attorney was Laura Alcott, Esq. of Dorf & Nelson LLP.
