Geiger of McGuire secures $41m sale of Calkins Corporate Park; co-brokered with Michaels of LDM Commercial / sold to Physicians Realty Trust

McGuire Development Company (www.mcguiredevelopment.com), a local commercial development, real estate consulting and property management firm, brokered the sale of Calkins Corporate Park on Red Creek Dr. to Physicians Realty Trust for $41 million. The property consists of five class A professional office buildings that feature a combined footprint of 149,949 s/f on 21.58 acres. The University of Rochester will serve as an anchor tenant. Jim Geiger, associate broker for McGuire, represented the buyer and co-brokered the deal with Lee Michaels from LDM Commercial in Rochester who represented the seller, Calkins Corporate Park, LLC. Steven Tranelli, partner in the Rochester office of the law firm of Hiscock & Barclay, LLP handled the transaction for the seller. "This is a perfect fit for Physicians Realty Trust and blends nicely into its portfolio with other medical tenants," said Geiger.
