Gavin and Singer of Heller Org. arrange long-term lease for T-Bar: 4,500 s/f

New York, NY Michael Gavin, managing director, and Joshua Singer, vice president/head of retail for the Heller Organization arranged a 12-year lease at 116 East 60th St. for T-Bar Steak & Lounge. The three-level, 4,500 s/f space, formerly occupied by Ivy Lane, is situated between Park and Lexington Aves.

“T-Bar is the gold standard for modern steak house dining,” said Gavin. “East 60th St. is an excellent location with a Park Ave. pedigree worthy of the brand.”

Singer said, “Working with owners Tony Fortuna and Derek Axelrod was a pleasure and we are thrilled to have found a space that is large enough to accommodate their needs. Thanks to the eagerness of both parties to see this deal through, we were able to finish the lease negotiation within weeks from identifying the space.”

T-Bar, which was an Upper East Side destination at 1278 Third Ave. for more than 27 years until the pandemic, is anticipated to open at its new location in early spring 2022. Representing owner Solil Management, LLC in-house was Jeremy Modest. Asking rent was a blended $140 per s/f.
