Galligan of CIT's Real Estate Finance division appointed to Mortgage Bankers Association's Board of Directors

New York, NY Matt Galligan, president of CIT’s Real Estate Finance division, was sworn in as a new member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Board of Directors during the organization’s recent Annual Convention & Expo in Washington, D.C.

The Mortgage Bankers Association represents all facets of the real estate finance industry whose members strive for a diverse and competitive market for all participants. MBA serves its members in part by educating them and enabling them to deliver responsible real estate finance options to customers.

“MBA’s is the most effective and influential voice in the real estate finance industry,” said Chris George, MBA’s 2019 Chairman, and Founder, President and CEO of CMG Financial.

CIT’s Real Estate Finance group provides financing for single properties, property portfolios and loan portfolios with transactions focused on experienced and well-capitalized sponsorship.

Galligan joins other MBA board members in setting the strategic direction for the MBA and overseeing management of the association’s affairs. MBA directors represent the organization’s commercial/multifamily, residential and associate membership.
