G.S. Jones appoints Long director of facilities services
G.S. Jones Restoration and Consulting has named Paul Long as director of facilities services. Based in Pittsburgh, G.S. Jones is a family-owned business providing specialized disaster recovery services for commercial, institutional and residential properties that have sustained fire, water, storm, explosion and other disasters.
In his new capacity, Long will be responsible for building alliances between G.S. Jones and building owners -- along with facility and property managers -- throughout Western Pennsylvania. He will play an integral part in advancing the company's strategy to minimize property damage, loss of income, and provide business continuity to these organizations when disasters occur. He will report to Scott Jones, president and co-founder of G.S. Jones.
Before joining the company, Long served for 21 years as director of facilities management for Highmark Inc., retiring from the company in 2012. During his career, he also has held a range of facilities management positions with Mellon Bank NA. He holds an engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
