According to Jonathan Spector, president and CEO of The Conference Board, Gail Fosler has been named president of the 91 year old global research and business membership organization.
Fosler, who has served The Conference Board in a number of capacities over the past 18 years, most recently as executive VP and chief economist, will remain in charge of the organization's global operations in key European and Pan-Asian markets, including China. Under the new structure, Fosler will report to Spector.
Fosler will extend her responsibilities to the full scope of The Conference Board's knowledge creation and will also lead the expansion and integration of the organization's global presence.
