Forest City retains HVRS for its Ridge Hill project
According to Hudson Valley Roofing & Sheet Metal (HVRS), Forest City Ratner Cos. has retained the company to be part of its Ridge Hill mixed-use project. The 10-building project will offer both retail and entertainment facilities. Under buildings packages 2, HVRS will be working with UW Marx to provide roofing and sheet metal work for buildings I and J.
"Hudson Valley will be working with several manufacturers to provide timely construction services to Forest City, which is always a challenge," said HVRS VP, Jim Dobush.
In addition to providing the roofing and sheet metal work, HVRS will also install a brilliant white EnergyCap system with an estimated energy savings of over $22,500 over 15 years on building J, which will be approximately 70,000 s/f and a SBS modified bitumen roofing system on building I, which will be approximately 56,000 s/f along with zinc siding.
