Flexer joins Massey Knakal as director of retail leasing
According to Massey Knakal retail leasing services, Mitzi Flexer has joined the division as a director of retail leasing. She will be focusing on Sunset Park, Windsor Terrace, South Slope, and Bay Ridge.

Prior to Massey Knakal, Flexer was a business development executive at Computer System Institute (CSI) in Chicago, IL, where she served as head of corporate relationships, strategic alliances, recruitment, and regulatory compliance. She drove the career services turnaround action plan across all CSI campuses, launching several improvement programs which resulted in a placement rate conversion increase of 50% per client.
Earlier, she spent time as a director for Forte Knowledge IT Firm in Chicago and was an ELA Lead for the N.Y.C. Department of Education.
She earned her MS in Leadership, Supervision and Administration and has her BA in History and Comparative Literature with a minor in Secondary Education from Hofstra University. She is the founding member of Lambda Iota Tao Comparative Literature and Languages Honors Society and a member of Phi Alpha Beta History Honors Society.
She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two sons, and enjoys volunteering, reading and yoga. Additionally, she is fluent in Spanish.
