EQ Office leases 17,337 s/f to SMCP Brands at 44 Wall Street

Manhattan, NY According to EQ Office, SMCP Brands signed a new 17,337 s/f lease at 44 Wall St., its 24-story modernized office tower in the Financial District. Under the 10-year lease, the company will move its North American headquarters and showroom from 10 Crosby St. to the entire 12th floor of 44 Wall in the fourth quarter of this year, following a buildout of the space by EQ Office.

Newmark Knight Frank’s Stephen Gordon and Nathan Kropp represented SMCP. EQ Office was represented in-house by Scott Silverstein, as well as by Zachary Price, Michael Rizzo, Jeffrey Fischer, and Caroline Merck of CBRE. 

“The iconic brands behind SMCP all possess an entrepreneurial legacy, and this passion has driven the company’s impressive growth throughout the world,” said Silverstein. “We are pleased to welcome the company to 44 Wall’s growing tenant roster.”
