Manhattan, NY Brokers gathered to celebrate the opening of the rooftop at 108 Leonard, the neoclassical landmark restored and reimagined to comprise 167 homes in TriBeCa. The landscaped rooftop is the final installment in 108 Leonard’s 20,000 s/f of amenity spaces.

Howard Lorber, executive chairman of Douglas Elliman, along with Susan de França, president and CEO of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing (DEDM), congratulated the DEDM team for their outstanding sales efforts, resulting in over 70% of the building being sold.

“We’re thrilled that this important lifestyle component is now complete and is being enjoyed by our residents,” said Elena Sarkissian, director of sales at 108 Leonard. The rooftop, with its two levels of lounge and entertainment spaces, offers views of the city skyline, including the Clocktower.

The rooftop rounds out the building’s suite of amenities, which include a 75-foot lap pool with an adjacent hot tub and sauna, a 2,200 s/f fitness center, a chef’s demonstration kitchen with an adjoining entertaining lounge, a private dining room with a wine cellar, media and game rooms, an Alice in Wonderland-themed children’s playroom, and a landmarked mezzanine-level lounge known as the Marble Room.

“With the most coveted elements of a McKim, Mead & White architectural masterpiece, 108 Leonard stands as a testament to the greatness that is New York City,” said Lorber. “Elad is a visionary developer and they have masterfully reimagined this important historic building as a sought after, modern residential offering.”

Jane Powers, Jeff Adler, Marie Espinal, and Christopher Salierno, representing the sales team, were among brokers in attendance, along with of others.
