NYCRS agents Ina Donath and Helen Demetrious have arranged six new retail leases totaling 4,650 s/f. The deals include:
* The agents represented the tenant in 700 s/f lease at 642 Lexington Ave. The tenant plans to open an upscale, fast casual Middle Eastern restaurant this spring. The restaurant signed a 10-year lease, direct to the landlord.
* The agents represented the landlord and tenant, Casa Gusto, in a 300 s/f, 10-year lease at 199 Ave. A. The space got a complete gut renovation from an old print shop into a gelato, imported chocolate and macaroon shop.
* Spin Hair Salon signed a 600 s/f lease 195 Ave. A with the agents representing the landlord and the tenant. The space was formerly a pet supply shop and it was divided to accommodate two businesses. Spin Hair Salon, who relocated from Stanton St., signed a 10-year lease.
* The agents signed a 15-year, 1,100 s/f lease at the former Polania restaurant to Bonada. The space will become a sushi restaurant.
* The agent also signed two leases at 137 First Ave. The South store was formerly a dry cleaners and was leased to a homemade ice cream shop. The space is 1,100 s/f and the tenant represented by the duo signed a 10-year lease. The North store formerly Tara Thai was leased to a wine bar bistro. The tenant represented by the duo and signed a 10-year lease on the 850 s/f space.
