Delta Commercial Real Estate closes $8.7 million sale

Delta Commercial Real Estate arranged the sale of 866 and 868 Lorimer St., also known as 585 and 587 Manhattan Ave., in Greenpoint for $8.7 million. Associates Adrian Langsner-Smilovici and Michael Leben handled the sale. Delta had an exclusive listing on each of the adjacent properties and represented both sellers, the Swidzinski family of the New Warsaw Bakery Company and the Cisek family of Brooklyn Electric Co. The properties were sold together to 868 Lorimer Project LLC (Chatham Development Company). The lot is 50 ft x 200 ft with frontage both on Manhattan Avenue and Lorimer Street, overlooking McCarren Park. The proposed development is a 2-tower, 7-story condominium with subterranean parking spaces, bike storage and a roof terrace among the planned amenities. There will also be ground-level retail space on Manhattan Avenue.
